The plant that will run your snack

Factory overview: halls, equipment, quality control, the halal process. This is a plant film, not a clip of a serial jerky SKU.

What we make under the customer’s mark

Jerky is a dried meat snack: strips, chips, sticks. For a buyer that means a SKU with your label, traceable halal meat and packing matched to the sales channel. There is no pork, no pork fat and no alcohol anywhere in the production.

Catalogue SKUNo public jerky article in the open price list

Pack weight, moisture, heat level, smoking and shelf life depend on the film and the customer’s spec — we do not publish a one-size-fits-all number that is not in a specification.

Photographs on this page visualise formats (strips, flowpack, vacuum, sticks). They are not shots of a serial catalogue SKU.

Five meats — one halal contour

Incoming meat is accepted against state veterinary e-documents. There is no pork line on site, so the same snack can sit on a halal shelf and in a general grocery set. Chicken and turkey come from the poultry work we already do in sausages and ham; horse meat comes from the same expertise as kazylyk.

Beef

Beef

The default taste for retail and export. Firm fibre; smoke and pepper follow your matrix.

Chicken

Chicken

A lighter snack and a lower shelf cost. Useful for petrol stations and mild family lines.

Turkey

Turkey

Poultry with a neutral profile. Often requested as a more premium twin of chicken in the same pack.

Lamb

Lamb

For markets where lamb reads as halal by default. Spices and fat level are agreed on the sample.

Horse

Horse

Tatarstan expertise: kazylyk is already in the catalogue. Horse jerky is a separate spec, not sliced kazylyk.

Snack formats

Three geometries on one contract frame. The sales channel picks the shape: strips in a doypack for the shelf, a stick in flowpack at the till, chips in a mix.

Strips (classic jerky)

Flat dried slices. The main format for doypack and foodservice vacuum bulk.

Meat sticks

A snack stick for flowpack: petrol stations, checkout, sports. Diameter and length sit in the spec.

Meat chips

A thinner, crisper cut. Useful in mixes and as a lighter SKU next to strips.

Flavour profile

Smoke, pepper, tomato, herbs. No alcohol marinades. Heat: mild / medium / spicy, as on other private-label lines.

Co-development

If you need a new taste or geometry, R&D builds a sample, you taste it, we freeze the spec.

White label vs private label

White label is faster if we start from an agreed internal sample. Private label / OEM is your recipe and pack from scratch.

Packing — what the shopper actually sees

The plant already runs vacuum, modified atmosphere (MAP), flowpack, skin and corrugated cases. For jerky that means a retail pack in your design and a transport case in the same shipment.

Flowpack

Flowpack

A pillow bag for sticks and portioned strips. Checkout, petrol, impulse. Film and window follow the artwork.

Doypack

Doypack

A standing pouch, often with a zipper. The main retail and marketplace format. Fill weight is in the spec.

Vacuum / foodservice

Vacuum / foodservice

Clear vacuum for kitchens, wholesale and pack-on-site. Useful when a chain fills its own bags or feeds a commissary.

Stick multipack

Stick multipack

Several sticks in a shared film or a display box. For the till and the sports channel.

Label and marking under your brand

We print and apply your artwork. Ingredients, allergens and the halal mark follow EAEU and DUM RT rules, not “whatever the designer drew”.

Why a contract halal plant, not “just a packer”

Halal across the site

DUM RT certificate #614A/2024. There is no pork in production — you do not need a separate “Muslim” matrix.

Horse and lamb as normal

Not an exotic subcontract. Kazylyk is already in the catalogue; horse jerky uses the same meat expertise.

Packing in the same contour

Flowpack, doypack, vacuum, MAP, case — we do not send filling to a third site without traceability.

Papers for import and retail

EAEU declaration to TR CU 021/2011 for the customer’s product, halal, veterinary e-documents, batch reports.

We already run private label

The Aslam line for OMPK (Ostankino) is traditional sausage, not jerky. It shows we can ship someone else’s brand, not that Ostankino has a jerky SKU here.

No GMO, no meat glue

The plant does not use GMO or transglutaminase. A short answer for a retail QA questionnaire.

Four ways to work

The same formats as /oem and /private-label. Jerky usually starts with a sample and goes straight into private label.

White Label

An agreed internal sample plus your label. The shortest path to the shelf if you do not need a unique recipe.

Private Label

Recipe, weight, film and design for the chain. Your brand on the pack, our plant and document set.

OEM

Full cycle to your specification, including toll raw material. Fits when the recipe already exists.

Co-development

Joint development: tastings, yield, cost, batch-to-batch stability.

How the first run works

The same sequence as other contract meat: brief → sample → spec and label → pilot → serial.

1

Brief

Meat, snack format, channel (retail / petrol / wholesale), pack-weight target, label language, monthly volume.

2

Sample

7–14 working days. You taste texture, salt, smoke and how the pack behaves in logistics.

3

Specification

We freeze the spec, artwork, ingredients and storage. In parallel we prepare the declaration and marking.

4

Pilot and serial

From 500 kg/month, then 2–5 t/month. Shipment EXW Kazan; the route is calculated for your city.

Who this is for in practice

Retail private label

Your own halal snack bay without building a plant. A doypack with the chain’s mark.

Petrol and street food

Flowpack at the till: sticks and portioned strips under the station brand.

Marketplaces

A light pack, your product card, documents for the seller cabinet.

Sports and travel

A high-protein snack with no pork — gym, road, halal assortment.

Foodservice

Vacuum bulk: the kitchen slices or adds it to bowls, salads or meal kits.

CIS export

EXW Kazan. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Tajikistan — the same export set as our other lines.

What we can change for the brand

These are the levers we actually discuss in the brief. No promise of “any flavour in a week” and no invented price per gram.

  • Meat: beef, chicken, turkey, lamb, horse, or a line mix
  • Geometry: strips, chips, sticks
  • Heat and smoke with no alcohol marinades
  • Film: flowpack, doypack, vacuum, MAP
  • Retail fill weight and case layout
  • Label, language, EAN, halal mark
  • Multipack and display box for the till

Questions

Will the jerky be halal?

Yes. The plant is certified by the Halal Standard Committee of DUM RT, certificate #614A/2024. There is no pork, no pork fat and no alcohol anywhere in the production. We send a copy of the certificate with the terms.

Which meats do you use?

Beef, chicken, turkey, lamb and horse — all halal. Species, fat level and spices are locked in the specification after the sample.

Is there a ready article in the pepperoni.tatar catalogue?

There is no serial jerky SKU in the open catalogue. This is a contract line: sample and label are built for the customer’s brand. Nearby in the catalogue are kazylyk and other dry-cured / sausage items that show the meat and packing expertise.

How is jerky different from kazylyk or basturma?

Kazylyk is horse sausage (we have gift SKUs). Basturma is a whole-muscle delicacy. Jerky is a snack: thin strips, chips or sticks in a retail pack. The recipes are not interchangeable.

What is the minimum order?

Pilot — from 500 kg per month per item. Serial — 2–5 tonnes per month. Several SKUs (for example beef + chicken) can share a schedule; that is agreed separately.

Which packs can you run?

Vacuum, MAP, flowpack, skin, corrugated case — those are plant capabilities. For jerky, buyers most often ask for flowpack, doypack and vacuum bulk. You set fill weight and film.

What is the shelf life?

It cannot be stated honestly as one number without a spec and a pack type. Shelf life and temperature are locked in the specification for the chosen film and product moisture. This page does not invent “12 months for all jerky”.

Can you pack under our brand?

Yes: white label, private label, OEM to your spec, and joint development. We change meat, geometry, heat, pack and label.

Which documents do you provide?

DUM RT halal, an EAEU declaration to TR CU 021/2011 for the customer’s product, veterinary e-documents, HACCP and ISO 22000:2018 evidence, the specification and batch reports, and marking artwork.

Are you “TD Kazansky” or kazandelikates.ru?

No. The legal entity is Kazan Delicacies LLC. Catalog: pepperoni.tatar. Corporate site: kazandelikates.tatar. kazandelikates.ru is not ours and does not resolve. Phone +7 987 217-02-02, Kazan, Agrarnaya 2, office 7.

Are you listed with SFDA or ESMA?

This page does not claim an SFDA or ESMA listing. We are a manufacturer in Kazan. Halal certificate: DUM RT #614A/2024. Default terms: EXW Kazan. Import approval for a given shipment to the UAE or KSA is confirmed per contract with the buyer’s broker.
